Selecting Multiple Tracks (as opposed to clips)

I've been working steadily in Audition for the last few projects for a variety of reasons, and I'm generally pretty happy but I do seem to be missing something. I'd like to be able to select more than one TRACK (not clip) simultaneously. Why? Well maybe I have a group of "holder" tracks that audio came in on, that are now empty and I'd like to delete them as a group. Or I've grouped all my SFX tracks together and would like to send them all to my FX Bus without having to do it on each track. Or maybe I'd like to grab all my BG tracks and move them out of the way. I haven't been able to find any way to do this. It seems like it should be fairly easy - Logic, ProTools, Ardour and even Premiere can all do it. Is it even possible? Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, this is currently not an option but it is one that I'm sure is high on the dev's radar.

What does "Dev's radar" mean? It's 2024, and it seems the Adobe Audition developers still haven't addressed this issue.
I understand that a lot of focus is currently on AI, but I hope they prioritize this problems as well.

Thanks for clarifying.

When I said "easy" I didn't necessarily mean development-wise, just as an action that I figured I'd missed (20 years in PT does dull the mind a bit when learning new software).

Hopefully, it will be added - they've added a LOT of the things that prevented me from working in Audition for post, and this one isn't a deal-breaker - just an inconvenience at best.

TBH, it probably didn't make it to any list at all. The best way to get something like this on 'the list' is to be a major user with thousands of seats - they'll certainly listen to you then. But as a mere mortal, your only option is to enter it on the user voice forum for Audition, which is here. At least this way it will get looked at, but there is absolutely NO guarantee of getting it implemented, however wonderful your idea is - as many have found out.

This thread is still hanging around here even though it's 15 years out-of-date. Since people might read it without noticing the dates, I thought it best to say that in the modern world, you can select multiple tracks with the mouse by simple clicking-and-dragging over the desired tracks. I don't happen to know if there's a keyboard shortcut.

As far as I can tell, it's still not possible. I can select multiple CLIPS this way, yes. but selecting multiple TRACKS by dragging over them doesn't work for me.
