Spectral Frequency Display playing MORE than SELECTED?!

I often use the Spectral Display to single out noises, and fix them.

For no reason, Adobe Audition 2021 - 14.4.0.38, just decided that even though I draw a box around the low frequencies, it plays the entire spectrum and ignores my selcetion. The in and out points of the box still work as the loop feature works... Did I press a key or toggle something off? I can't find ANYTHING and it has rendered the software almost useless to me.

How do I get it to listen to my selection and play just that? It ALWAYS used to, and every video guide I see has it working without issue.

Right-click on the Play button and select Play Spectral Selection Only...
