Since the Audition update, upon saving now every session winds up with the message below - I wait and wait, some files save with no issue, other operations never complete, so I have to quit and pray no revisions will be required. Anyone have any ideas how to stop this?
using Build 23.6.0.61
@Ken31606307jxwi The issue(Error with file "".) is fixed with release 23.6.1. Please update Audition.

I also noticed this new error is popping up a lot - maybe it's related?

The "Error with file" did go away with the update, but that doesn't answer Ken's question.
I am getting the same message. When I quit Protools it saves all the assetts in the appropriate folders (audio, fades, session) and CLOSES. Closing Audition always seems like an ordeal. Between all these dialog boxes, "Audition is getting ready to quit," and pop-ups including these strange error messages. I really like this software but all this does not instill confidence. By asking if I want to replace every source file (one at a time) with the edited version in my session there is a high risk of erasing or replacing something that should not be changed. So 2 questions:
1) What does this warning mean and where can I find the alert state it's referring to?
2) Other than while exporting, is there a preference for always saving every associated file WITH the session while leaving the source files safely alone?

@Ken31606307jxwi Thank you for providing your feedback and we are sorry to hear you having trouble. We are able to reproduce the issue and working on a fix. There are two issues:
1. For certain mp3 files, Audition is not able to import it properly.
2. When openning as session files and error occurs for certain files, and alert is shown in the bottom application status bar - the problem you are running into. You need to click the alert in status to display it.
We are fixing both the issues - mp3 import and improve usability around the alert.
