I'm a little stuck right now.
Adobe Audition is recognizing my MBox, but I can't get any audio into the program. When I click on the "Arm for Record" button, there's no feed coming in.
What could I be missing to get a signal in? I've double-checked settings and everything seems to be correct, but no signal to even set levels with.
Thanks,
Dean

Have you made sure that the input you want to record from is selected in the track control panel?
This is generally the step that many overlook... ![]()

If the above hasn't fixed the problem did it work before? What type of computer are you using and what operating system? Has the OS been updated recently? In Audition's Audio Hardware preferences what Device Class have you selected to show what type of audio driver are you using?

The MBox Mini is working fine on an older Mac that's using Pro Tools v9 (Yes, it's very old, but it works).
I'm running into an issue when trying to plug it into a newer Mac because I'm wanting to transition to Adobe Audition so I can start getting comfortable with a DAW that can use Punch & Roll.
Everything seems to be set up correctly (from a settings standpoint), but I just can't get an audio signal.
I'm using a Mac Pro with O/S 10.13.6.
The device class setting in Audition is Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini. I tried updating the driver to the 10.3.9 (from 10/10/14), but the MBox stopped receiving power, so I reinstalled the older driver.

Steve,
Yes, I do have the input set correctly to the MBox 2 Mini. Here are some screenshots that show what is currently showing. Is there anything you're seeing that doesn't look correct?
Thanks,
Dean

On the face of it, it looks fine (bearing in mind that I'm a PC user, not a Mac one. But...
Try changing the master clock so that it derives it from the input not the output - this has cured more than a few issues like this!

Steve,
I tried both changing the master clock to the input setting, as well as changing the output to the MBox as well. Neither one affected the input sound level. For some reason, it's just not getting the input from the mic. Weird.

Do you have any other software you can check it with?
