Will CS6 stop working?

Audition warning.gif

I cancelled Creative Cloud single-app membership for Adobe Audition (month-to-month).  However, I am only running the old CS6 Audition.  Will this actually fail to load after the days?  I still have an account and can sign in.  I just need a heads up about this.

I suspect that when you cancel a subscription, any trials you are running that have exceeded the single month that they normally run for will be terminated immediately, regardless of when the subscription itself appears to finish. If the trial hasn't technically finished, you should be able to download the latest version and run that. If you can't, then you might have some grounds for complaining...

No, when you paid for Audition CS6 it was for a permanent license to use it. The above error is only because you cancelled your CC sub. It shouldn't affect the operation of CS6 once it is activated for your computer. The only thing that might mess up the activation is if you change computers. But you should be able to re-activate for any new one for the foreseeable future. Although like all software it may not go on for ever since CS6 is no longer officially supported by Adobe.

I did not purchase CS6.  I downloaded the trial version from Adobe about 3 months ago.  I then decided to keep using it after the trial by subscribing to CC monthly.  According to the subscription, I have paid up till the 11th of December.  Now this has happened:

subscription_bottom.png

My system date and time are set correctly.  I hit Try Again and this happens:

My computer is not offline and my Internet connection is fine.  I hit retry and retry but Audition will not connect to Adobe.

Help please

If you didn't purchase CS6 but only ran the trial version then yes it won't work anymore. Nor will any of the CC versions if you have discontinued your Cloud subscription.

No.  When I started the monthly subscription, the trial of CS6 turned into a fully working version.  I could have gone on for ever with that.  Even though I cancelled, I am still paid up to the 11th of this month and CS6 should have worked till then.  The days remaining counter seemed to be accurate counting down to the 11th.

It doesn't matter any more.  I have found a couple of sites that are still selling it and I'll buy it.  I just wish I had know this before starting the CC subscription thing.

As it says in several of your Error messages 'If the problem persists contact Customer Service'. However, as I said earlier, if you have actually bought CS6 instead of going to the Creative Cloud subscription route you should have a fully working copy of CS6. When you joined the Cloud Audition probably continued to work as you may then have been running the CC version. However have you actually logged onto your Adobe account to see if CS6 is still included in your Plans and Products/Products/View Products?

My apologies.  I thought the trial was converted to a full version.  In a way it was, with CC code downloaded and integrated into the trial.

I contacted Customer Service, and the woman told me what Steve said:  If you cancel a subscription, any trials you are running that have exceeded the single month that they normally run for will be terminated.  She gave me a choice to either reinstate my subscription or purchase it from a 3rd party reseller.

Of course I did.  "Creative Cloud single-app membership for Adobe Audition (month-to-month) Cancelled"  No registered products.  No CS6.

I have just bought CS6 from a reseller.
