Incorrect audio hardware configuration can cause playback to stop working or can cause the record button to get greyed out. In this video, you will learn how to fix the greyed out recording button in Audition by configuring the Audio Input.

Audition 13.0.12 is now available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop application. This update provides fix to minor bugs and improvement to general quality.
What's fixed?
- Clip fade envelopes might fail to draw when manipulated if multiple clips are selected vertically and horizontally.
- If a clip is relinked to a clip of different channelization and merged in Multitrack, it might crash upon playing.
How do I update Audition?
Open the Creative Cloud desktop application and click the Updates tab on the top-left. Find Audition in the list and click Update.
What should I do if I don't see the update in my Creative Cloud desktop application?
Click Help > Check for Updates from the Creative Cloud desktop application to refresh it.
