Adobe Premiere

Pretty much what the title already says, sometimes Premiere loads up and reads the waveform (that wheel on top-right corner) but now it simply doesn’t read any audios from the videos I’m working on. Things that I already tried to fix the problem:Sequence - Render Audio Reset preferences  Delete Peak Files Check and unchecking Show Audio WaveformKeep in mind that the issues only shows up with Premiere 26 since I tried working on the 25 and it the waveform showed up there, so I think maybe Premiere 26 have some kind of weird bug to read audio files? Any suggestions to what I could do to get the waveform back?

Using the current Beta version in multi-camera mode, as I drag the scrubber across the timeline the scrubber stops at each segment boundary. I have to re-grab the scrubber and pull it into the next segment. Also when I start up the Beta version, there is a message saying that there is an update available. When I attempt to update the message is that the update is not yet available.

I've seen a lot of articles discussing the best video, sequence & export settings to get that crystal clear resolution on Instagram, but none of them are consistent with each other lol. If I'm shooting video on an iPhone 13 or newer, is 4k at 30fps best? 4k at 60fps? or 1080 at 30fps? Should I be shooting HDR? It gives that weird bright look that also dims the screen which I don't like at all. What about the format? Most compatible? And then in terms of the sequence settings in premiere....I'm assuming 1080x1920? Do the sequence settings have to match the settings of the video I recorded? Or can they be slightly different? In terms of the export I get totally lost, I need to learn more about bit-rate anyway, but for codec I've heard adaptive medium bitrate at H.264 is best, but I'm not sure. What about CBR/VBR? Are the aspect ratios for stories and posts different? Do I need to shoot with a specific camera to get that better-than-eyesight look? What about using slow motio

Hello Adobe Community,I'm experiencing an issue with hardware-accelerated decoding in Adobe Premiere Pro on my NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Specifically, HEVC (H.265) videos in 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, 10-bit depth work perfectly with hardware decoding at 4K resolution, but the same format at 6.2K (5240x2700) falls back to software decoding (CPU). I have tried all solutions found through google and used the adobe cleaner to do a fresh install of premiere, nothing seems to get this DLL to load properly. Was the lens flare effect removed from Premiere? I am not finding it. Was it renamed? Combined into another effect? If it was removed, why? I am in Premiere Version 26.0.0 (Build 72). Hi everyone,I’ve been getting into much larger projects than I’m used to and I’m hoping to get some workflow advice from people who have more experience with post-production pipelines than I do. Sorry this is kinda long, I just have a lot of specifics that complicates things for me.Here’s my situation.My camera records .MOV files using H.264. Because my editing style involves a lot of animation, color work, and round-tripping between Premiere Pro and After Effects, I’ve been transcoding all my footage in Mezzanine files before editing.Right now my workflow looks like this:Record footage on camera (H.264 .MOV). Before importing into Premiere, I transcode everything in Adobe Media Encoder into mezzanine ProRes 422 files. >Important: I edit using those ProRes files and export clips to After Effects when needed and then back into premier as linked AE files. I shot some 59.94 footage on a Canon R6II with the intention of interpreting it as 23.976 for solmo. The footage was shot with 1/125 shutter speed. I have done this with no problem many times. When I interpret the footage to 23.976 and create a new sequence using these clips, when I play the footage if feels like 12fps. When I shuttle frame-by-frame through the clip, every other frame is duplicate. I have tried to replicate the problem by recording new clips on the R6II and the footage slows done fine and looks slow and smooth as it should.. Is there a setting or something I missed that could be causing the duplicate frames?

I have big project with some dupes in it. So when I try to use "Edit > Consolidate Duplicates" it does nothing. So I ended up cleaning all project to three clips that are linked to exact same raw footage, no proxies attached and I nothing else in project panel, just those three clips:Still "Consolidate Duplicates" does nothing. Maybe I should look for some other places where Premiere thinks that those are different clips? Any ideas?

HiIssueAudio output randomly disappears in Premiere Pro 26 on macOS, especially when using Bluetooth audio devices. I updated a project to 2026, but every single edit operation results in a five second beachball - insert edit, overwrite edit, ripple delete, Track select forward & drag, etc.    All these operations beachball and no input works, then eventually the operation happens.   None of this happens when I open the original project in 2025. I’ve reset cache, updated Blackmagic RAW plugin, restarted computer and app, to no avail. Mac Studio M1, macOS 15.7.2, Premiere 2026.0.1

Hi guys, super frustrating.  I am trying to drag and drop a motion graphic into my timeline, but every time I try it says that it is not compatible with my version of premiere and to update to the latest version.  My Premiere and AE are both up to date.This happens with every graphic I try to pull over from the adobe stock essential graphics tab. Screenshots attached. 

Why does part of the audio track in a squence lose it’s quality within a sequence after I open it again in Adobe Premiere Pro? How do I resolve this issue? 

The original drive was named LaCie, as was the replacement drive (the system now sees the new drive as LaCIe 1). The new drive is APFS-formatted with a GUID Partition Map. It seems that I can save to a different folder, but I have no option for scratch disks other than the system drive, on which I’m storage space-challenged. Is there a way for me to update the existing app installations for permissions to reference the new drive?

I'm using the automatic transcription tool available in Premiere Pro to edit my videos, but I've noticed that when I right-click on a filler in the transcript and select the "ignore this filler" option, the rest of the sentence in that transcribed block disappears – causing the rest of the transcript to be out of sync.Transcriptions are in Portuguese (BR), I´m using Premiere Pro 26.0.0 (Build 72)As an example, you have a quick screen recording I’ve done of the issue. As you can see, the whole sentence present on the 10:27:11 - 10:46:56 mark disappears after ignoring the filler. Closing the project and reopening it doesn’t fix it, nor does changing my workspace. I’m happy to provide any additional info if needed Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm considering buying a MacBook Pro M4 Pro 14" (12-core CPU / 20-core GPU / 24GB) for video editing and I've been reading reports from early 2025 about Premiere Pro not fully utilizing Apple Silicon on M4 — low GPU usage (30-40%), stuttered playback with Lumetri + effects, and long export times compared to DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.My typical workflow:H.264 / HEVC footage (standard camera, no RAW) 4K timelines, occasional multicam Effects: Lumetri Color, Noise reduction, transitions No mixed frame ratesHas this been addressed in recent Premiere updates (25.3+)?
