Bridge export stalls, abort fails, must force quit

When opening a new collection in Bridge and I try to export before all previews are generated, export stalls and I have to force restart to close bridge.

If I wait for all of the preivews to be generated (which is not practical when thousands of images are in a folder) then export seems to work fine.

I've purged the cache and reset the preferences. No change in the issue.

BRAND NEW Macbook Pro 16", running the current operating system (Sonoma 14.0). Bridge 14.0.0.102

Saving images via Adobe Camera Raw works fine. In fact, it's MUCH faster than Bridge. The problem is 100% with Bridge.

This is STILL an issue with 14.1.257. S T I L L   AN   I S S U E !!!
This is an honest question: How can Adobe continue to distribute a defective piece of software FOR MONTHS with known issues that cripple its basic functionality?!? What are users expected to do? Stop earning a living?

This is STILL an issue with 14.1.1.271! Why does "choosing your photoshop version" matter when basic exporting functionality is BROKEN!?! Is anyone at Adobe listening?

Here are a few things you can try:

 

1) Please try updating the Bridge application, a newer version is available: Version 15.1.

 

2) Also, please ensure the folder where the original files are stored has permissions set to allow access to Bridge (or any application). You can check out the correct answer in this thread for steps and more information: Solved: Re: Bridge Export Stuck - Adobe Product Community - 10912949

 

3) Give Files, Folders, and Full Disk Access to Bridge: Please check out this thread for steps to Allow Permissions to Lightroom Classic on macOS. The steps remain the same for Bridge as well.

 

4) Reset the Preferences in Bridge and purge the cache: You can check out this helpx article for steps and more info on how to Troubleshoot Adobe Bridge for freezes and performance issues
