For ahile the Bridge could have multiple Windows by pressing control N. That was too simple, so it seems they changed it again. Now how to?
This feature was once removed but a mass outcry succeeded in effecting it's reintroduction.
If you have not updated Bridge for some time you may still have this feature missing.
So, assuming you have Bridge updated, Ctrl + N still does this.
Alternatively, it's File>New Window.

Coincidentally, it was right after I myself officially complained about this feature being dropped, that about a day later they reinstated it. I was using it for sometime, but after a recent update I found it wasn't working again. But after just checking now, I find that, though I have updated several times, the version on my PC is not the latest one, so it's only been when I've used the cloud version. So how do I get that version updated to my PC as I don't always have Internet access when I am using Bridge.

Hi @robirdman1, when you say "…the cloud version…," what do you mean by that? There is no cloud version of Bridge. There's only the "on your computer" version. The second window capability has been around for some time now. Can you please share a screenshot of the version you are using? Like this?

So on my task bar is this older version. It doesn't update, so each time I want the latest, I have to click the Adobe Creative cloud icon and choose that Bridge, and though I've chosen update, that taskbar thumbnail remains unchanged.

If I understand you correctly try this. Right click on this old icon and choose "Unpin from taskbar" You then need to navigate to the latest Bridge executable in program files. Right click on that and choose "Pin to taskbar"
Do you have more than one version of Bridge installed? If you don't use the old version, I would uninstall it. If you do that first before the above then the taskbar icon should turn white as the link will be broken. You can still unpin it from the taskbar.
