Upgraded from Bridge 2022 to 2023 yesterday and I now receive this error message: The GPU device has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi all,

We're happy to announce the release of Adobe Bridge Beta (13.0.2.630). This update includes the fix for this issue. Also, this Beta release includes several bug fixes done in the 13.0.1 public release. For details, see Fixed issues.

Steps to install/update

InstallGo to the Creative Cloud desktop app and select Beta apps in the left sidebar of the Apps panel. Then select install for your beta app.

Update: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app, click on Update in the left sidebar of the Apps panel and Check for updates. Then click update for your beta app.

Let us know if this Beta release resolves the problem for those affected, and share your feedback.

Thanks,

Mohit

Do not download the new Bridge Version, it is not stable. It pumps Raw Pictures (arw) from dark to hell. I myself returned to the previous Version and it workes.

Since Bridge CANNOT make any adjustments to an image, this doesn't make any sense. Either there is an issue as to how it's viewing images or you are having issues with Adobe Camera Raw. Please be specific.

Also, ACR, or any raw adjustment application, CANNOT make any pertinent changes to an image. So if you are having an issue with ACR, the damage you see, while obviously an issue, is not perminent.

This is just a guess from your side. the brigthness of the preview windows changes continously from dark to light like a candle in the wind....And it si clearly a bug of the new Version. the older one works better.

Hi @Tallship ,

Thanks for reporting this issue.

Can you share more details about the system environment i.e. (Machine configuration, GPU information,  OS version). Also, are you able to continue working with Bridge or is this blocking your workflow on every launch?

Can you also share the BridgeLog.log file located at :

  • Mac : /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge 2023/BridgeLog.log
  • Win : %appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge 2023

Thanks,

Bridge team
