...\Adobe\Bridge\Cache\v36\data\store stores too much info

The file C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge\Cache\v36\data\store is a SQLite database.

It contains file paths for directories on my "C" drive and one of the external disks.  I think it has names for every directory.

Why does Bridge need that info?

That's how a cache works. I'm not sure what else to tell you.

This is where Bridge stores its cache data for better performance.

Thanks!

Yes,  I understand that file is the cache.

But the cache contains entries that have nothing to do with Bridge.

I am not pleased to find non-Bridge folders listed in a file on the C: drive.

Below is a partial list of irrelevant files, directories, and disks I found in the cache file.

Why does Bridge need these?:

C:\Users

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop

C:\Users\<username>\Pictures

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\7-Zip

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\AntiVirus

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\Computer Management.lnk

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\Control Panel.lnk

C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\Event Viewer.lnk
