Adobe Bridge creating duplicate RAW file on download

I have the latest version of Bridge installed 2023. I am using Windows 10 Pro.

When I ask Bridge to Get Photos From Camera and go to the Advanced Dialogue it is showing a duplicate of each RAW file. If I continue with the download the duplicated files are there and numbered _DSF1656-1.RAF. _DSF1656.RAF and so on. I have carried out all checks on the camera - Fujifilm X-T5 -  to ascertain that nothing is being duplicated in camera. I have also checked everything in Bridge that I can think of.

Advice required please.

Hmm, I wonder if some of the preferences might be stuck on an earlier version.

Can you please reset your Preferences?

Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your ca

Don't use the Photo Downloader. I use the Finder or Windows Explorer depending on platform.

Thanks for the advice but I WANT to use Bridge. I have used it for years
and have not had any problems until now. This must just be a bug which can
be sorted. I just wanted clarification so that I can stop thinking that the
camera was creating the problem

The Photo Downloader is buggy. Its been problematic for a few years at least. There are better options.

Are you using 13.0 or 13.0.1?

If the former, please download the latest update.

I downloaded the most recent version of Bridge- which I normally love using. But I am having the same exact issue with both my Canon DSLR and my EOS r6.  So I think this is a Bridge issue. Anyone find a fix to this?

This has been fixed in the updated version. Which version of Bridge are you using? And if you haven't already, download the latest version from the ACC application.

This is what the image numbers look like with version 13.02.636   I have loved Bridge but this is a pain to have to go in and delete hundreds of wasted duplicates which takes time.
