Im using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 ti create JPGs using the photoshop image processer on a mabcook pro M1 with Montery v12.5 and starting about a week creating JPGs has becomg unbarelingly slow.  I've tried purging Bridges cache and multiple reboots.  Any other suggestions?   I cannot use the native export bc it creates JPEG and not JPG (which is an issue for my clients).

Its back to being insanely slow again.  This is very frustrating, would be nice if someone from Adobe would address it.  Ive tried Photo Mechanic and it takes minutes to export 1000 jpgs, it takes hours with Bridge.

You have something else going on with your system. I do not see this issue on a Windows 10 PC or on either Intel or M1 Macs. Can you post a system report from Photoshop?

JPEG and JPG are exactly the same thing. Use batch rename if the file extension is a problem.

thats the not problem.  the issue is the extremely slow processing with image processor.  renaming adds a step that i shouldnt have to do if the workflow i have used for years was working correctly.  why does it take 10-15s for image processor to create a jpg?

I have the same problem. Ever since it downloaded or allowed Adobe access to something I cannot remember
