auto preview of most recent image when tethered

Is there a setting to enable auto preview of most recent image when using Bridge for tethered shooting?  As of now, the new image appears in bridge film strip, but I have to select it in order to preview.

Thanks for your help!

Bridge doesn't really have teathered shooting dynamics, all you are doing is to see the image(s) as they come into a folder. To have true teathered dynamics have you tried Lightroom Classic?

But to answer your question, no. Bridge is not really smart enough to know that it is to go to an image that wasn't there a moment ago.

Sorry.

Hey Gary,

Thank you for the quick reply!  I understand.

Yes, I do have LRClassic - but I would like to use a "Live View" feature.  LRC, when tethered to Canon 5D mkIV, does not seem to allow Live View.  And when using Canon Utility software, I am able to get Live View, but LRC is unable to go into tethered mode when using Canon Utility software to tether.  And when not using tethered mode in LRC but using tether with Canon Utility, LRC will not preview images that arrive in folder from tether.  It's always the little things.  No problem - just trying to smooth the process.  I'm a big Adobe fan, but I may have to check out Capture One.

Cheers,

Yup, check out what works for you.

When I've teathered my Canon 7Dm2, my needs were not to preview the image on my computer, only seeing the resultant image was very satisfactory for my needs.

And yes, do check out Capture One, it may do what you want/need.

Good luck!
