Automate Bridge Thumbnail Creation

I'm spending too much time waiting for Bridge to create thumbnails when I open a new folder in Bridge 10.0.1 on a Mac Pro laptop running OS 10.15.3.  Is there a way to have Bridge do  this in the background?

You can use Tools->Cache-Manage Cache to build and export cache including thumbnails.

does not seem to matter how long I wait on Adobe Chat help. over an hour now. Nobody home. thus now help on Bridge. Yeah I am a newbie but why offer a falso hope chat.??
