BPM Format not supported for export

New Here ,
Aug 22, 2024 Aug 22, 2024

Hey, I hafe a bunch of photos as BMP Format which I would like to export with Bridge as Tiff´s. It doesn´t matter how I try to export the photos, Bridge won´t do it. The error message says "not supported format".

Also I just updated Bridge so that shouldn't be the problem.

What can I do to solve that problem?

Thanks for your help in advance!

You will need to use another application. Try Photoshop Image Processor. I was also able to export a TIFF from BMP using Apple Preview.

Considering that the Image Processor script in Bridge is a link to the actual Image Processor script inside Photoshop, shouldn't it be possible to do that directly from Bridge?

I'd test this but I do not have a BMP file on my computer.

Yes, selecting the files in Bridge and using the Image Processor looks like the best option. I tested with a BMP file and export was indeed not supported. Photoshop will open a BMP and save as TIFF.
