Bridge 2019 bottom strip stays with Content pane

In Bridge 2018, in my keywords workflow setup, I could put the Content panel in the left pane and the bar showing number of items and slide to resize thumbnails stayed across the bottom of the keywords workflow window.

In 2019 when I set up a keywords workflow with the Content panel in the left pane, the bar showing number of items etc. goes with the Content panel to the left pane.

In 2019 no matter which workflow I am in, or which pane the Content panel is in, the bar described above always goes to the pane the Content panel is in. But I want the bar to stay under the whole window as it did in 2018 no matter which pane Content is in. And in 2019 I want the bar to stay under the whole window when I put the Content panel in the left pane in the keywords workflow window.

I've been on the phone with Adobe in India (Adobe please use US people so we can understand each other) for hours with no results. Is there any way to get back to the 2018 way?

    Hi eonekvt,

Thanks for writing to us. Please close all the panels below content panel and then the bar showing no of items will come in bottom. Please let us know in case of further problem.

    Regards,

    Thanks,

True, but I wanted the the bar showing no. of items to stay at the bottom of the middle pane like it did in Bridge 2018 instead of moving with the content panel when that panel is moved to the left pane.

You'll want to change this to a feature request.

Looks like a change that is part of the new interface. I don't see any way to change it back.

Looks that way to me as well. The Adobe solution is to reinstall 2018 and use it. However the Tools/Photoshop/Load files into PS layers is missing in 2018 after I reinstalled it. That's something I used a lot. Anyway to get that back?
