Bridge 2020 black interface, can't see or do anything (Catalina)

I've just installed Adobe Bridge 2020 on my Mac via the Creative Cloud desktop app. On opening it, all I get is a mostly black interface and I don't know how to fix it. I can't even tell what version has downloaded because the About screen is blank, but in the CC app there are no updates for it.

I've tried rebooting, fully uninstalling rebooting and reinstalling, and trying the Bridge download file itself (i.e. not from within the CC app) and it doesn't matter what I can't see the interface.

System details and a few screenshots are below. Any ideas?

Check your Bridge app permissions in Catalina OS.

Try reinstalling.

Try resetting your preferences.

I am able to see the interface if I right click and select "Open in Low Resolution," but other than that, yes this is an annoying issue in Big Sur OS as well.

I don't know if this is still helpful, but I simply had to update my bridge thorugh the creative cloud and this problem was fixed for me.

I'm on a macbook pro with M1 chip running Big Sur, which version of Bridge did you update to for the fix? The latest version, I think Bridge 11.1.1 (?) gave a warning about an intel version, which is not what I need. But having same issue as others, mostly black screen with just a few discernable controls.

LATEST

The latest is 12.01, and I was having the same problem until I uninstalled the previous versions using the creative cloud app manager. It looks like even having 11.11 on my machine while trying to run 12.01 led to the all black screens? Who knows.
