Bridge 2020 - Previews colors are bad

Hi, in the new Bridge 2020, the previews colors of .psd especially is absolutely wrong, to much green and shadows are very dark. No problem in PS. That's absolutely not useful.
I tried to reinstall Bridge 2019, and no colors problems if i refresh the preview with a purge of the cache of the file.

If i go back to Bridge 2020 and i reflesh the preview, the colors become wrong again.

So the preview module of Bridge 2020 is absolutely broken, you need to keep the one from 2019 version.

Have you purge cache files using Bridge 2020?

Hi there,

We are sorry about the issue you are facing with Bridge 2020 while previewing PSD files.

Would you mind going to the Preferences for Bridge, then select Advanced and check the option to Use Software Rendering? Also, go to the Color settings and check if it is set to Use North America General Purpose 2.

Once you have checked both the settings/options, quit and relaunch Bridge to check if that makes a difference.

Regards,

Nikunj

[ UPDATE - I figured out my issue (I'd delete this comment, but can't seem to figure out how)... For me, it's because the PSD's were an "untagged" color profile, whereas the saved JPG versions were sRGB. I just need to be sure I'm working on the PSD's in a managed color profile (sRGB) ]

Hi Nikunj,

I wanted to chime in... Not sure if the OP will respond, but I've had problems with previews too, both in CC 2020 and 2019. Haven't been able to find a solution. The colors of PSD's have rendered over-saturated in Bridge preview, but the same .JPG file that I've saved as a copy from that PSD will be less saturated. The discrepancy is frustrating, and when quickly reviewing images, it's hard to know what to rely on.

I've tried the steps you listed above, and there has been no change.

Thanks for any other help you might have!
