Bridge 2023 is dating my files 1/1/1904!

Mac Studio 2022, Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1

When I view my files in the Finder, the dates are correct.

When I view some of my files in Bridge 2023, the date is changed to 1/1/1904.

Please help.

@HKAA Which date is incorrect, file date created, file date modified, IPTC date created, Exif (camera data) date created?

If I sort the folder by date modified in the finder, you can see that the dates are correct (2022)

When I view the same folder in Bridge, the files show "date modified" as 01/01/04.

1/1/1904 indicates that the date value is missing or not in the correct format for Bridge. Finder can read, obviously, so now we have to see what the raw metadata looks like. Let's start with the XMP metadata.

- Select a file with the 1/1/04 date.

- Open the File Info panel (File > File Info…) and click on "Raw Data" (in the list of panels on the left side).

- Click on the XMP data. Select all and copy all of the data. Paste it into a reply.

I'm confused about why this would be an issue if it never was before!

Something about the M1 chip?
