Bridge abd CR2 files

Hello, a curious question as I cannot get any help from Adobe on this issue.  I have been running Creative suite CS6 on a Windows 7 laptop successfully for at least 5 years.  I just upgraded to a new Windows 10 laptop and installed CS6, which appears to be working fine.  However, Bridge on my new computer will not open CR2 raw files, whereas I never had that issue on my older laptop.

I downladed and installed the DNG converter ver 13 and it will convert my CR2 files so they can be opened, but that is an extra step, of course.

Any thoughts on why Bridge on my new computer will not open the CR2 files?

Update your CS6 and Camera RAW versions.
