Bridge 2017 Release 7.0.0.93 x64
When I start Bridge it tries to connect wiht Adobe Stock, which i don`need.
It can't connect, mabye because of the firewall, but I don't need it anyway
But it tries to connect all the time and it allways freeezes for some seconds.
It feels like it freezes 30 seconds while trying, then i can work 30 sconds then it tries again and freezes again 30 seconds.....
Have I to open a ticket ? where can i open a ticket ?
Thank you for your help
Michael

Hi Michael,
Could you please try to reset the preferences of Bridge :-
Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.

Sahil

Dear Sahil,
i tried this steps in the article, it don't work.
The problem is that Bridge wants to connect with stock and I can' disable this connection.
So i can't work with bridge, except i would create a stock account, but i don't want a stock account.
So Bridge is useless for our Team.

Hi,
I have the same problem. I believe it's a firewall issue but my company's policy is set, so I need some way of stopping Bridge from trying to connect from Stock (I have a stock account, so that's not the ssue).
Here is my original post on this same subject, from October 2016. Nobody answered and nobody got in touch with me...
Shocking service from Adobe.
Bridge CC (2015) freezing intermittently after update - tried all known solutions.

The only solution I've had is to install the oldest version of bridge available - 6.0

Hi all,
i use CC 2017 and i have the same problem. Where are you Adobe Support ?
Does anyone know how to stop this connection issue ?
Can you make a patch for this please !

The issue is with Adobe Publish panel. Bridge behaves ok once that is disabled via WIndow > Publish Panel.
What I would like to know is how to get rid of it permanently and deploy that setting via GPO or something.

Hi,
I'm sorry but that's not the problem - at least not for me. I've disabled that panel and the problem persists, intermittent freezing every 5 seconds or so, lasting another 5 seconds or so each time. Happens regardless which folders I'm accessing, what files are present, etc.

Disable the "Publish Panel" and close the application. After you start it again, the problem should be gone.
This solved it for me after hours (could prove it on another pc).
Very annoying Adobe !
Why can't you place in a menu / button just to disable the hole "Adobe Stock Connection" ?
If you want us to use it, you should be able to detect our proxy server within your application. Otherwise let us disable it.
