I loaded Bridge CC to my PC and it was great - all worked fine. I just changed to a new PC and similarly downloaded Bridge CC but now cannot amend any metadata because it says its in Read Only Mode.
I looked at previous posts on this subject and it refers to a button to change to a live mode but I cannot find any such button. Can anyone advise what I need to do please. The software is great and I really want to continue to use it.

Thanks
Ron
Bridge doesn't have a "read-only" mode. A locked file, file open in another program, on a locked volume, etc may be read-only but that is determined by the operating system.
Where is this file located, and does any other file have this problem?

Thanks very much for responding. You were correct in thinking it was a folder permissions issue. I has coped all my photos to the ‘Pictures’ Library folder from an external hard drive that I use for backups. When I checked the Properties for the Pictures folder it was set as Read Only which I have now changed. I can now once again apply Keywords.
I really appreciate your help.
Regards
Ron
