Bridge CC keeps crashing

New Here ,
Nov 01, 2017 Nov 01, 2017

Installed the latest bridge - Bridge CC 2018. NOTHING WORKS ! Had bridge from the very beginning. Now it completely freezes the only way out is to Force Quit,

The Adobe help pages are no good , bridge is NOT a selectable option, it just keeps recycling me to a page that does nothing. I have un-installed and re-instaled it 3 times NO JOY same results - nothing.

Can't access any of my images.

Any help is valued.

Have you tried signing out of your Adobe account then rebooting your Mac?

Then sign back in to your Adobe account to see if there's any improvement?

Mr. Waller,

No sir, I haven’t tried that. I get a little nervous

Doing things I not sure how to do.

PS works fine. Bridge comes up about half the size it usually does and is just non responsive

I can’t even close it, I must force quit to exit.

I have Creative Cloud, if that makes a difference.

I’m a photographer, so being locked out

of all my images is kind of important.

Are you Adobe ? I tried going to their help

page, that was useless. They don’t have selection for Bridge and just kept recycling to run around pages saying “ Contact us “ with no way

Of doing so.

Thanks Again,

vollick

No, I'm not an Adobe employee. I'm a volunteer who knows his way around most Adobe products.

There's nothing to be scared of in signing out, rebooting, then signing in again. It's normal and is a healthy way to ensure everything is working correctly.

Mr. Waller,

Thank you again. I will give a try and report

Back to you.

Why is it so difficult to actually get hold of

Adobe tech support, assuming of course they

have one.

Mr. Waller,

I did as you suggested. Signed out and signed back in successfully. No change. Bridge still is totally unresponsive, can’t select anything, must Force Quit.
