Is the Oct 2017 update "Bridge CC" similar to "Lightroom CC" in that it uses cloud-based storage?
What's is/are the main difference(s) between Bridge CC and Bridge CC 2017? Which is the latest iteration?
(Really don't get why Adobe has a subscription service with same-but-different products. I thought the days of littering hard drives with multiple flavors was over.)

Please check the "About Bridge...", you will notice the version information at the top-left corner, as shown in screenshot below. You can compare the version information to identify the latest version. Bridge CC (ver 8.0) is the latest version available in market.

Bridge just browses your hard drive, it doesn't store anything. It's basically the same product as Bridge CC2017.

Giving this kind of information is so wrong and it is not even fair to the Bridge Adobe team work effort.
