Bridge Contact Sheet (proof Sheets) different file size from Mac and PC

Hi Community,

bit if a strange one here. I run an PC and a Mac in my studio and am getting a completely different file size when making the exact same contact sheet sourced from the exact same images ?? the Mac make the contact sheet altealst 6 time a lager files size than the PC does. reading from the same images on my server. ??

anyone know what's going on here ??

for example, i just made an 11 page PDF contact sheet. The PC sheet was 4.3mb and the Mac version was 39mb and that's even at a super low res.

@Jock_Bermann we're experiencing the same here. Mac outputs to over 40 mb. If we recreate the contact sheet manually from an A4 preset - we get 4 mb. So strange - changing the transparency setting does nothing.

@Kevin Stohlmeyer can you check the ACTUAL resolution in the Mac sheets? I wonder if what one enters into the resolution differs from what's actually being used in the sheets.

Gone through all this - both are set exactly the same 150 ppi with 8 quality.

We've even gone through the effort of rebuilding preset templates - they work once then bloat the second time with the same assets.
