Bridge CS 4 Cropping Tool

My cropping tool will only cut to square format. Can't make any changes... Help?

Are you talking about the crop tool in Adobe Camera Raw? CS4 is long unsupported and may not work properly on Windows 10.

In Camera Raw click on the Crop icon then right click in the document area to change the Crop Tool back to Normal.
