Bridge CS6: How to change the sequence images are read, in 'Get Photos from Camera' ?

I'm looking at using my copy of Bridge CS6 to ingest and rename images. This feature seems to sequence images from my SD card by ascending shot-time within descending shot-date, placing the newer images before the older ones. As a result, when using  an incrementing sequence number with a custom name, the newer images are renanmed first, in acsending shot-time sequence, then images with an earlier shot-date are renamed, again in ascending shot-time sequence. This results in renamed files with sequence numbers which are confusing. How can I change the renaming sequence so that sequence numbers are consecutively assigned by acsending shot time within ascending shot-date?

Bridge Version: Same situation on Bridge CS6 Version 5.0.2.4 X64 and with version 11.0.1.109

System configuration: I assume you mean windows version (otherwise there is far too much information to give): Windows 10 Home, version 20H2, build 19042.746

Photodownloader version (as used on latest test): 8.0.0.4491

Screen shots: I have 3 but do not understand how to "share ... at sharewithbr@adobe.com"

I'm going to assume this is an email address and will send the 3 jpgs there. The jgs show the setup of the import request I made, using the Advanced Dialog and the results I got, showing the renamed contents of the 2 image folders, with the newre images having the lower sequence numbers. the filenames are entirely generic, for test purposes.

The 3 jpgs will come from another email address I have.

"If you want to share screenshots or photos in this forum, click on the

Sadly there is no such icon above where I am typing, in Thunderbird. The
suggestion is also different in content to that which I received earlier
(to post  screen shots to 'sharewithbr@adobe.com'). So which instruction
- if either - should I trust?

Oh really? Huh!?!

FWIW, I have three different browsers on my computer that I use regularly (Safari, Chrome, and Opera).

As amazingly powerful as all of these browsers are, I am always expecting one browser or more to fail at giving me a good presentation of any given website. As such, when I go into a site where text is overlying other text, missing items, etc. I just try a different browser. I'd like to simply blame the web disigners but life is short and I've more important things to worry about.

If Thunderbird is not showing you the following, I'd suggest you try a different browser when viewing these forums. Yeah, it ain't the best option but getting these forums fixed can take years if not decades and what are you going to do in the meantime?

I received the instruction which referenced the photo icon in an email;
I replied to it using my email client of choice (Thunderbird), which is
much less at risk of presenting me with malware that is so prevalent
with any internet browser. (What a sad, sorry, contemptible, commercial
cess-pit the internet has become in such a short time from its
commendable start).

Nope, my bad. I had assumed that Thunderbird was a browser, not an email client. You cannot send images in ANY email client that will show up in the forum thread. You have to use a browser.

And yes, as wonderful a thing the Internet can be, it has fallen victim to those who wish to use it to pry upon others in pursuit of power, money, and/or maliciousness.

Hi,

Should I assume that this requirment, while being quite basic, is beyond what Adobe Bridge can do?
