I've triple checked all of my boxes when using image processor. I've used it for many many years and have never experienced this issue. But I'm trying to use Image Processor in Bridge to export my files to either tiff or jpg, and for some reason it's automatically converting them to grayscale in the processing. I have no actions selected to do that. Any guesses? Is this a bug? Images were captured with a Canon 5d MKIV, and sharpened with DXO PRIME. But to be clear, even images not sharpened with DXO PRIME are being converted to grayscale. Attached are screenshot of my Image Processor settings, and the versions of PS and BR I'm running. Help! 🙂

Hi, @f2pshop, congrats: you've got a real puzzler here.
Please go to the Image menu and select Mode and tell me if one of the gray JPG images has grayscale or RGB color checked.

Hi Gary! Grayscale is checked under Image Mode.

I was able to simply "export" via Bridge...but it's not my normal process. So I'd prefer if Image Processor was working 🙂 But at least I'm not at a stand still. This also isn't for a job...just some side work, so not super critical. I haven't yet tried: Making sure both Br and Ps apps are up to date. I have tried restarting apps and laptop.

Hi, @f2pshop, in Photoshop, File menu, if you go down to Scripts, the first option there is Image Processor. It's the same script as you see in Bridge, but with a different starting point.
Please run one image from this and let us know what happens.
Some info: The fact that the image is showing "Grayscale" in the Image menu means that it was slipped over to Grayscale by an active command. This can only be done in the Image process via an Action, and it's clear that you did not run an action according to your screenshot.
Checking that Bridge and PS are the same "vintage" is a good idea, but I'm not convinced that that is the cause. I think that something got corrupted or something similar. Another thing to try is to uninstall Bridge and PS and then reinstall them. Two things here: be sure to reinstall Bridge first and then PS. Also, when asked if you want to save the Preferences, click "No." Yes, this will add to your test, but this may be critical here. So, before you do this, either take note of what your settings are or take screenshots.
Sorry for all the work based on a whim, but this is a head scratcher.

Gary, I actually just restarted again, and it's working just fine now. Guessing it was just a little glitch? But still super strange! I've never seen it before! But thank you so much for trying to help troubleshoot! I really appreciate your time and effort!
