Bridge locks up after dragging files from one folder to another

As per the title.  The files (or just one file) move OK, but then the swinning wheel appears and Bridge goes 'Unresponsive' and has to be closed and reopened.

Windows 11

Bridge 15.0.2.432 (but I noticed it first a couple of versions ago)

@Ashmit Singh Thank you.  The problem has gone away with the latest version of Bridge.  Maybe a coincidence.

To add: Cut/Copy and Paste work OK, it's just dragging that shows an issue.

Hey, @FitzFoto. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move the thread to Bridge for now. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Where are the original files/folders stored? On an internal or external drive? Has this started to happen since a recent update to Bridge or the Windows OS?

As a basic step, try this:

Go to C Drive > Program Files > Adobe > Bridge 2024> Bridge.exe

Right-click > Run as Administrator

Check if that helps & let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

@Sameer K

Internal drive, trying to move between folders on that drive.

As I said I first noticed it a couple of Bridge versions ago, but couldn't now say when it started.  And W11 updates have occurred.

Bridge (and other Adobe products) are run as Admin, it's a single-user PC.
