Bridge make the WebP-files corrupt

I am working with images to a webshop in Photoshop and using Bridge to handle the files. But I have had a problem the last 2 years or so, but I never found the source to the problem until now. Sometimes my WebP-files gets corrupted. Now I found out that it is Bridge that is doing it to the file.

As you can see on the image I uploaded it fine on the left (straight out of PS).

But when I mark the file with a Label or Star-rating in Bridge the file gets corruped, as seen on the right.

Both the PS and Br is updated and the problem has been there since we started using WebP (2 years?). I always use the latest versions of PS and Br, so the problem has been theere for several versions.

Any ideas why this is happenging? Any solutions (exept avoiding Label and Star-rating)?
