Bridge metadata for .ai and .pdf. Include physical dimensions

File properties has a field called Dimensions. This must be renamed. that is an improper label. Rename that filed Pixels.

File Properties is missing: 

1. Document Unit: Inch, cm, pixel, point...etc. 
2. Dimension: Once bridge includes Document Unit, create a the field Dimensions.

Granted, artboards can be of different sizes. let's start very simple for now. let's just go with a default for artboard 1,

Future updates can include Dimensional information for subsequent artboards.

What's funny is JPGs and PSDs have this information. pixel, resolution, and inches even though much of the work here may only ever be displayed on a screen, while Illustrator files are more often printed meaning actual Dimensional information is so much more important to have.

@Lumigraphics you've been here helping ppl out long enough. what do you think are the chances that anyone at Adobe will read this and care and or do something?

I mean the problem is about to be a DECADE old now.

Adobe has a Bridge beta out currently, they are making a lot of changes and (hopefully) improvements. But I have no clue about whether this is a change that you will see.
