Bridge no longer shows items from Subfolders

I'm working in Bridge 8.0.1.282 on a Mac Pro running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4

With one of the latest updates, I no longer can see any items when I go to View>Show Items from Subfolders.

I'll be in a folder called 'images' that I can see a few folders, (scene01, scene02, etc.) and images. If I open one of those folders I can see the images that are in that folder. But when I'm in the 'images' folder, and choose 'View>Show Items from Subfolders' I get a message that says, 'No items to display'.

This happens for all folders on my computer and on the network.

Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix available?

Thanks

Bridge has always had issues with files on a network.

Have you tried resetting your Bridge preferences?

Thanks, I realized that the issue started when I tried to move the cache to the network drive.

When I returned the cache to a local drive it started to work again.

Agreed. My "Show items from subfolders" was greyed out and unable to be selected.

I am having a similar issue. None of my subfolders are showing in Bridge 14.0 - or now Bridge 13.03 either! I have Ventura 13.5.2.
Luckily, I still have the Beta version, which works correctly. I tried resetting my preferences in 14.0 to no avail!
What is going on?

Hello @Al Carfagna

Thank you for reaching out to us. To better investigate the issue, could you please share the following:

1. Do Bridge 14 or Bridge 13 have permissions to access your folders?

2. Video recording / screenshots of the issue

3. System details

4. Are you using show items from subfolders?

We might reach out to you for more information.

Thank,

Bridge Team
