Bridge Photo Downloader no longer saves settings

On past versions of Bridge, the Photo Downloader used to save previous settings, which meant that you could set it up the way you liked it and it would save the copyright metadata that you put in the Advanced Dialogue section. In the last two versions of Bridge, it no longer does this and you have to go through the rigmarole of having to change the file location and writing in metadata every time you download photos. Really irritating!

Is there a checkbox somewhere that saves your preferred settings?
