Bridge quits

This is a two part question, 1) Why does Bridge quit when I have gone to 'File Info' and then clicked ok?

                                            2)  I work in RAW, (Nef file) and before a recent update you could see the changes you have made in the thumnails.  Now this seems to have dissapeared, however when I re-open an image the changes have been saved.  Is there a solution so that I can again see the changes in the thumbnails?  I'm working on mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.3.  Other info, I work in CS5

    Try resetting Bridge Preferences.

    As soon as you click to Open Bridge, hold down Cmd+Opt+Shift

    You will get a menu that offers Reset Preferences
