Bridge single click opens to Photoshop

Truly annoying behavior - attempting to single click images immediately opens them in Photoshop  - HELP! I only want to open in another app if I double click - I am single clicking all the time...

Hi Christopher,

I believe you are using a Mac OSX which has a wacom connected.

Please open system preferences and locate for the option ink.

Disable handwriting recognition and uncheck allow me to ink in any application.

Restart the machine and check if the issue persists.

Hi Krystal,

Are you using any wacom tablet? If yes, please disconnect it from your machine and restart it and then check.

guys can anybody tell me what is 'option ink' in system preferences? where is that? i ahve the same issue - bridge needs the slightest one click to start to open images i'm just trying to select to preview, to compare and i can tell you that makes the day SSUUUUUUUPPPPPPEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR frustrating. instead of 5 seconds selecting 2 images to see them next to each other in preview and be happy... i open the images by mistake, i have to close the images, i have to select the images AGAIN of course, i fear AGAIN of course that they will open AGAIN.... :))) adobe.. please.... so now i'm looking for option ink that doesnt exist lol to solve my problems that exists too much. i wanna sell everything and go live in the woods

Same exact problem, maddening. Can't find a clear answer. PC, no Wacom or pen, just a mouse....
