Camera Raw is not an option in Bridge

New Here ,
Jun 14, 2024 Jun 14, 2024

I'm trying to open a png in Camera Raw on Bridge but it's not giving me the option to. (see first image). Ih

I have a subscription to the complete Adobe Cloud apps including photoshop. I have tried opening Bridge, opening Photoshop, closing and re-opening Bridge, but nothing changed. The second photo shows that i can open the camera raw preferences, so I don't know why it's not an option?

Please help! Thank you!

Camera Raw cannot open png files.

It is for RAW files (many formats including Adobe DNG) but can be configured to open JPEG and TIFF files.

Look in Camera Raw Preferences>File Handling and you will see the only options.

Hi, @Athena328550815r80, if you want to, you can convert the image to JPG or TIF via Bridge or PS, then work away at it in ACR.
