can’t label and tag raw files (NEF) inside Adobe bridge (and folders) after update to latest Mac os 15.0
for example" commad+8 does not work on a (raw/NEF) file only on the folders inside adobe bridge is working but not on the files when opening folders...
also it is not possible to label and tag through menu bar..
any suggestions? I did uninstall/instal - command/option/shift to reset Bridge no succes so far
A.J.P.
Adobe apps are not supported on beta operating systems. I suggest that you go back to macOS 14.5 Sonoma.
Backup and reformat then reinstall Sonoma. This is an example of why you don't use beta OS's on a production system or on the internal drive.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

The very first and $64 question is, where are these files located? Internal drive, external drive, camera card, cloud storage, network drive, NAS system?

Can you upload a problem file to Dropbox or similar and post a link here.
Can then try this on a Windows system as, at the moment, the source of the problem could lie in a variety of places. Might be able to narrow things down a little.

i don't use dropbox.....
the problem is the latest mac os update.
even with a older version of adobe bridge i got the same problem
I now use acdsee to label my photos as an emergency solution. What I notice is that when I open the same photos in Adobe Bridge, they are labeled with the color white... while I have labeled them with green in acdsee.

Hi André. I'm a Mac user but I'm still using Ventura. Let me see if I can help.
I have to re-ask one question and add a variation on that question.
1) Where are the files located? You stated "on the local C drive on the mac few days ago…" The Mac does not (and never had) "C drives." Can you elaborate on what you are referring to there? Is this a standard external hard drive, an internal hard drive? What are you calling a "C drive."
2) is this drive a NAS drive or server? Bridge does not reliably work with NAS or servers. It may work one day but not the next. It may work with one OS but not an update of the OS. I am not a programmer or an engineer, so I cannot explain why. I just know that this is a sad reality.
Waiting for your answers,

it worked all very fine until i di install the new mac os 15.0 update.
my mac sure got a hard drive its a ssd drive internal with the name: Macintosh HD.
i did got call it 'C' drive but you asume it was a windows drive....
So i'll have to wait for a update by Adobe or Apple witch i both contacted.
Havea nice day

ps,
if you Google this problem i found out this is not the first time This problem has occurred before, but I have not yet found the solution. And Adobe employees are currently unable to temporarily take over my computer remotely to solve the problem, also caused by the new macOS update...
