cannot copy text to name a new folder in photo downloader

When I create a new folder in Photo Downloader I can manually type the new folder name into the dialogue box but I cannot copy the text from another source and paste into the folder name box. I'm using the latest version of Bridge (CC2017) on a mac running sierra 10.12.6.

Can anybody help with this? Thanks!

Thanks Sahil,

I've managed to find out a workaround. It seems to be a problem with Mac OSX and how it works with certain software rather than an issue with Photo Downloader. The problem being that you cannot use CMND+C and CMND+V to copy and paste text into a new folder window (not sure how I'd screenshot this not working!) The workaround I discovered is that you can right click and get a drop down menu of options where you can choose "paste" which will paste the copied text

Hi Nathans,

Could you please share a screen shot of the issue you are facing? So that we can provide you a possible solution or a workaround.
