Color sync settings not working

Each time I open Photoshop the color sync setting I have chosen in Bridge turns off, and all apps revert to emulating an older version of the respective app with CMS deactivated. I have tried to restart Bridge and reset preferences, settings, cache etc. to no avail. Is there a fix for this?

Hi joernbphoto,

I don’t know if this solves your problem, but I solved mine by deleting this file:

ACEConfigCache2.lst

On a Mac it’s located here:

Go (in the finder menue, also hold down the option key) > Library > Preferences > Adobe > Color

I hope this helps you!

I have the same problem. every time I launch bridge, the color space has been reset to North American General Purpose 2. This is super anoying since Photoshop stays in ProPhoto and any CameraRaw adjustments look different when opened in Photoshop. How to fix this, short of setting the color anew every time I start bridge?

I have been having the same problem. Just trashed ACEConfigCache2.lst which seems to have worked.

Same problem, this is an old bug from 2018, hopefully Adobe will release another patch but for now trashing the ACEConfig file does seem to work for most.
