Constant need to purge cache

Engaged ,
Oct 08, 2023 Oct 08, 2023

For some reason I recently have to purge the Bridge cache after saving a jpg image.  Every time, not just once in a while.  I've tried making sure the Bridge preferences are as recommended, but that hasn't helped.  Are the jpg's too large?  And how should I limit their size?

Thanks,

Bruce

I'm not certain what else there is to say.  For quite some time (last month or two), whenever I try to save a photo image as processed through ACR as a .jpg the image fails to show in Bridge (although the save shows.)  To see the image I have to purge the cache in Bridge.  I should say this only happens when saving a 16bit image at 300dpi.  If I should change the said image to 72dpi for use in email the saved jpg image can be seen in Bridge.  At the time I requested input on this I checked the p

This morning I took a couple photos and ran them through ACR at 300dpi.  When I saved these as jpg full-frame images they appeared in Bridge and I didn't need to purge the cache.  No idea.  Perhaps there was an update that corrected the issue?  If this reoccurs I'll mail back, and thanks for your input.

Cheers,
