Developer Settings greyed out in Bridge

Explorer ,
Jul 22, 2019 Jul 22, 2019

Hey guys,

What can i do to get Bridge not to show Developer settings greyed out?

It was working before, but now, it won't let me click on any of them, I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, but nothing changed.

Other people in the office can click on them, but for some reason I can't.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hi Jorge,

That does not sound good, let's make it right.

As the developer settings are grayed out in Bridge, could you please let us know the version of Adobe Bridge you're working with?

Also, I believe you're referring to the Camera Raw plugin. Could you please share the screenshot of the developer settings?

Regards,
Sahil

This is what I see and yes it might be related to Camera Raw as when a picture is opened it says Camera Raw opened it.

I'm using Bridge 2019.

I need to be able to clear the settings for these files (other people can, but not me)

What kind of files are these? Are they located on your internal hard drive? And can you open them into Camera RAW?

The files are RGB TIFF files located on a file server, permissions have been checked and everything is in order, it's not just 1 image but all.

Thanks.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot, the issue might be related to the files. Could you please let us know what file format are you working with?

Does it happen with every image or specific images?

Although this does not fix your original issue (have you tried resetting Bridge's preferences?) – there are at least two other ways to clear the Camera Raw Settings metadata entries from your files:

Hey, were you able to get those Develper Setting to work again? I opened a batch of pictures in Bridge 13, opened one picture in Photoshop from Bridge, made a few adjustments in Camera Raw and saved teh adjusted picture to a separate folder. However, when I returned gto Bridge, ,those changes were applied to the original file. In previous versions of Bride, you could simply right-click on your originla photo in Bridge adn clear setting 9via Developer setting). I do not see this anymore. Help!!!
