It's a while I started using Wacom pen and it's giving me hard time. when I'm choosing photos on Bridge CC it seems i double click on a photo and it automatically opens in Photoshop and it happens for most of the photos so it slows me down , i went to file type associate but it's not a correct way because I want nothing happen when I double-click on a file but in that section it ask you what program to be used to open raw files.

Thanks

Hi

I don’t use a Wacom tablet, but no one else has jumped in yet.

Double-clicking to open a file is part of the operating system, so that shortcut can’t be changed.

When I want to open a file in ACR, I use Cmd+R to bypass the lengthy launch-and-open PS and go directly to ACR. (Use Ctrl+R on Windows).

Will it work for you to use that shortcut? Or can you assign shortcuts to the Wacom tablet?

Hi there,

You can disable the double click command for Camera raw by going into Bridge's Preferences > General and unchecking the option as show in the image:

Let us know how it goes.

Sahil
