Does the Shared Cache system work for large teams

Community Beginner ,
Jan 18, 2022 Jan 18, 2022

We are looking for ways to improve our workflow for a team of 33 designers. This shared cache system came up in talks as an option for speeding up and improving Bridge. I'm looking for any feedback, positive or negative, about your expeirence with the this cache system.
Just some specs. We have an image database in a cloud that all designers access remotely.  We add images to this database twice a month, so the cache would have to be updated and synced to each designer 2 times a month. With this transition more metadata and tags will be added to images to increase searchablity.
Thanks for any feedback you may have.

Forget Bridge and use a real DAM that is cloud-aware.

Lumagraphic is correct. Get a real DAM that is cloud aware.

The last thing you want to do is use Bridge on a network or cloud.

Cache sync would not be possible.

Here is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the info and the link. I've been reading that it doesn't work well, so I wanted to start a conversation that I can share with my team.  I'll take a look at Cloudinary. Looks like a pretty good solution.
