Downloading

I use adobe bridge for searching using a keyword in a huge database of photos I have archived (work related). This process use to be easy but now bridge downloads every photo before coming up with search results.

What I woudld like it to do is what it used to do and bring up search results before going through and downloading every photos. Is this possible?

If you are using the search bar in the upper right of the interface, what options are selected and what is your OS?

If you are using the find command, ensure that you are searching non-indexed files.
