Editing Capture Date without affecting time

Is there no way to change the date of capture on multiple files without making all of those photos be captured at the same time? Meaning I want to leave the time on the photos as is, but just change the date they were captured.

There is an option to shift the capture time. One day = plus or minus 24 hours.

Right, except if youre off by a month the maximum hours you can shift by at once is 24 so you have to do it 30 times.

Yeah you will have to use something like EXIFTool for that.
