extreme pixelation viewing images in bridge - help please

Question

I took approx 1200 images last weekend. Uploaded to desktop computer no issues using canon eos program. On viewing in BRIDGE all were ok until I got to approx 600th image and from there all are extremely pixelated. If I open any into photoshop, they are fine, It is just BRIDGE where the issue lies.

Attempts to fix the issue including shutting the computer down fully and restarting.

Performing updates for the adobe suite which included bridge

Splitting the folder where the images were located into 600images in each folder

Nothing has resolved this issue
