If I create a new folder in Bridge 2024 (Windows 11), in about 50% of the cases the focus is directly on the label and I can start typing.
But I can not rely on - since in the other 50%, the new folder is created with name "New Folder" and I have to click the label and wait (or press F2) to start the (re)naming of the folder.
It's totally unpredictable, when what happens.
If you rely on directly focus on the folder's label and start typing, it all ends in a big mess - since then, the typed characters are interpreted as shortcuts.
Please fix this bug.

Hi @konrad79 ,
Thanks for your feedback. We understand that issue is unpredictable but can you please let us know the workflow which you are using while creating new folder(like workspace switch, using filter panel, keywords panel etc. ) . It will help us to drill down the issue and investigate further.
Thanks,
Bridge Team

I use both ways: Clicking in the grid view - context menu -> New Folder as well as clicking on the parent folder in Folders Panel Right Click -> Context Menu -> New Folder

Hi @konrad79 ,
We are not able to reproduce this issue at our end. Can you please share the video of the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com
Thanks,

As I said, it's totally unpredictable, when what happens. Thus, to provide a video of it is not really possible. 😞

Ok, I can reproduce it:
When you stand on a folder like:
D:\Photos\2023\September in the folder pane and see all the photos from that folder in the grid view.
And then you right-click on a parent folder like D:\Photos\2023 --> Add new folder. A new folder with the name "New Folder" is created but the name is not on focus and in edit mode. Thus, if you directly start to type "Octo.." the o and the c and the t etc. are taken as shortcuts and not as input for the folder's name.
