Full Screen Preview in Bridge is greyed out

When a thumbnail is selected in Bridge, I usually hit the spacebar to see a full screen preview. With the latest version of Bridge, this no longer works. When I hit the spacebar, nothing happens. When I look in the menu under View, the option Full Screen Preview is greyed out.

What's going on?

Thank you for your help.

Marsel

Hi Ryan,

Can you please let us know if you are seeing this issue with all files and file types or only with few of them.

For the keyboard shortcuts can you please share log files from the following location with abseth@adobe.com to help us debug the issue.

Share log file “BridgeLog.log” located

1. MAC : /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC 2018

2. WIN : %APPDATA%/Adobe/Bridge CC 2018

Thanks for your patience.

Regards,

Abhishek Seth.

Hi DeusMerdaeEstryanh60318940DeusMerdaeEst

Can you please confirm if you are still seeing the 'Full Screen preview' option greyed out?

Based on the details provided, this issue is most likely to occur because of a bad installation.  Can you please try reinstalling Bridge CC 2018 and let us know?

Thanks,

Siddharth

The issue has been resolved. I was still using Bridge 2017 which was still in my dock. Now that I actually use Bridge 2018, everything works as it should, and the 'Full Screen Preview' is no longer greyed out.

I too noticed this issue - but realized Photoshop had updated to 2018 version so figured there must be a 2018 version of Bridge too. Once I found the newly installed 2018 version and opened it, there was no issue. So the issue is with the old 2017 version that needs to be removed.

So I was having the same issue... INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING, as this is arguably *the* most importance interface feature of Bridge. I noticed that I was running Bridge 2017 though. If 2018 is installed (mine was, but not in the dock yet), make sure you're running that.

Full-screen preview came back for me.

It happens on all different file types - JPEG, RAW, etc.

I don't have any BridgeLog located in that folder on my Mac.

Any advice? I'd really like to get this fixed as its making my life very difficult!!

Please someone reply about this. I have restarted my macbook pro, and that did not help. full screen preview is still greyed out. Another large issue that i am having with bridge, is that i have no keyboard controls. arrow keys don't work, can't use the delete key, etc.! What is going on adobe??? Please fix now. This program is close to unusable in an effiicient way. Bad update, more beta testing before release.

I am having the same exact problem and feel like I must be missing something. I can't get anything other than thumbnail previews, which makes the program almost useless!
