Hi All
I have been having long chats with Adobe Technical and have now had it confirmed that Adobe Bridge 2025 (and probably previous versions) does not support the H265 4.2.0 10-bit LongGOP 200 Mpbs CODEC. In Bridge it just displays the generic video icon. In contrast, the MP4 files show the video thumbnail correctly.
This codec is used by a number of models in the Panasonic LUMIX range as well as other manufacturers. In my case, I have the LUMIX S1R.
This then begs the question. What are the chances of Adobe supporting this CODEC in the future in Bridge?
On a final note, this CODEC is supported for Windows 11 and Lightroom Classic but not Bridge.
Thanks
Duncan

Feeling the same pains here, I recently re-encoded a ton of my old direct-from-cam videos into h265 and saved hundreds of gigs in the process, but now I can't view any of them in bridge which is quite inconvenient considering it's the media organization app
